the next step

 The first step is to know there is only one way to heaven and to have eternal life, it is found in the Bible.  John 3:16   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life  

Acts 4:12

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the Life.

Pray this prayer from your heart.

Lord forgive me a sinner, I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins on the Cross and was raised from the dead. I choose Jesus to be my Savior and my Lord, and from this day forward as He leads, I will follow. Thank you for loving me, Amen.

The most important thing you can now do as a believer is to read the Word of God. I would start in the book of John in the New Testament.  It will help you understand who Jesus is and what He did for you and me.  As a new believer you find a hunger for the Word, don' t let Satan, the temptations of Life, or the distractions of the World diminish your faith.  Pray the Holy Spirit will give you understanding as you read, the answers are all there, but you need to read if for yourself. 

Fellowship in Christ will help to strengthen your faith, you find support, help, and additional resources and teaching in your local Church. You can contact us, there are many Bible believing communities, the have resources that will help you in your walk with Christ.  It is here where you will strengthen with you walk with Christ.  You need declare your faith with others and get Baptized.  Baptism is where you openly profess your faith in Jesus, in Baptism you immersed in the water symbolizing your death to old ways sin and arising out of the water as new person in Christ.  

As a new believer one getting baptized with water is one first things Jesus ask you to do, it symbolizes, your part in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Death to sin, putting the old body of sin in the grave and resurrection in a new body in Christ for all eternity. Grow in your faith and share your testimony with others, so they too can come to Jesus and have eternal life. You are not your own, you bought with a price, you are commanded to share. Go out into the world and share the Gospel, till Christ return.

We are all appointed once to live, then to die and face judgement. Jesus paid the price for those who believe and follow, everyone else will stand on their own.
